Nelson, Catherine D., 96, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday January 11, 2003. Born in New York City, NY, she came here in 2001 from Coral Gables, FL. She was a retired manager of the Communications Department of Union Carbide in New York after 25 years of service. She was predeased by her husband, George Nelson. Survivors include two daughters, Dolores C. Mills, Brandon, FL and Elizabeth A. Carmody, Locust Valley, NY; six grandchildren, Kathryn Narbin, Silver Springs, FL, George Nelson, St. Petersburg, Steven Nelson, Riverview, FL, Catherine Carmody, Locust Valley, NY, Jennifer Cozzi, Long Island, NY and Robert Carmody, Boca Raton, FL and a great-grandson, Robert Anthony Cozzi, Long Island. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Lion's Club-St. Petersburg Sight Clinic, 330 5th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33701.
