Armand Red'' Lucier
January 31st, 1927 - January 26th, 2003
Lucier, Armand ?Red?, 75, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday January 26, 2003 at Grace Health Care of St. Petersburg. He came here from his native Southbridge, MA, in 1953. He was a Naval Air Corp. veteran retired from Coastal Steel Construction Company. After retiring, he pursued his favorite hobby, American History and published a series of books on 18th Century America after compiling old newspaper articles of that era. He also volunteered at St. Anthony?s Hospital Cancer Center for nine years. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy; a son Mark Lucier, St. Petersburg; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Joel ?Joey? Lucier on Jan. 21, 2003. A funeral mass will be said for both ?Red? and ?Joey? Sat., Feb. 1st at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 200 78th Ave. NE, St. Pete.
