Ronald John Carr
December 15th, 1945 - February 7th, 2003
Carr, Ronald John, 57, of Pinellas Park, died Friday February 7, 2003 at home. He came here in 1953 from his hometown of Morristown, New Jersey. He was the owner of a durable medical equipment company in St. Petersburg and a member of Northwest Presbyterian Church. He was a volunteer coach with the Pinellas Park Youth Football League. He was the first Lung Transplant patient at Tampa General Hospital on June 19th, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Rae Marie; four sons, Ronald Carr, Jr., David Carr and Brian Costas all of Pinellas Park and Kevin Carr of Clearwater; four daughters, Dana Platt of New Port Richey, Kimberly Caswell of Largo, Amanda and Alison Costas both of Pinellas Park; a brother, Robert Carr of Morris Plains, New Jersey; four sisters, Lorraine Koenen and Carol Donotelli both of East Hanover, New Jersey, Evelyn Hudson and June Rockhold both of Largo and ten grandchildren.
