Pittenger, Anne M., 85, of St. Petersburg, Florida died February 19, 2003 at Concordia Manor. She was born in Scotia, New York. She attended the University of Colorado. She retired to Florida in 1968 from Schenectady, New York where she had been a long time resident. She was a Bookkeeper until she retired. She was a member of St. George?s Episcopal Church in Schenectady, New York. She was a life member of the American Contract Bridge League. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be to The Virginia Search and Rescue Dog Association, 9517 Pioneer Drive, Nokesville, VA 20181; SPCA of Pinellas County, 9099-130th Avenue North Largo, FL 33773-1441; Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 300 East Bay Drive Largo, FL 33770. Private services will be held in West Charlton, NY. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James F. Pittenger, Sr. of St. Petersburg, a daughter, Susan P. Lewis of Collingswood, New Jersey, one son, James F. Pittenger Jr. of Pinellas Park, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
