December 11th, 1943 - February 28th, 2003
David John Nicholl, 59, of St. Petersburg, passed away Friday Feb. 28, 2003 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. He was born in St. John?s Newfoundland and moved to Kitchener, Ontario ,as a baby, where he made his home. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Marlene Elsie Tosh Nicholl , his parents, Moses and Nancy Nicholl, his brother Gerald and wife Illona Nicholl, a nephew Geoffrey and wife Tracy Nicholl, a niece, Jennifer Nicholl, all of St. Petersburg, Florida, two nieces Krista and husband Scott Graham and Tammy and husband Bruce Stephanic, all in Ohio, Mother-in-law, Elsie Tosh of Sudbury, brothers-in-law, Alvin and wife Birdie Tosh of British Columbia, Lloyd and Bruce Tosh of Garson, Ontario, Bob and wife Glenna Tosh of Collingwood, Ontario, sisters-in-law, Carol and husband John McPhail of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Jessie Thorsen of Sudbury, Gail and husband Rob Simerson of Wasaga Beach, Ruth and husband Rev. Gary Stagg of Missisauga, all in Ontario, loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins in Newfoundland and across Canada. He was predeceased by a brother George Nicholl and George?s wife Mary of Ohio, father-in-law William Tosh, brothers-in-law Richard Tosh of Garson, Harvey Tosh of Elora, and David Tosh of Hanmer, all in Ontario. He was self-employed, a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in St. Petersburg. He loved sports, most of all hockey. He was loved by all and will be truly missed.
