Hill, Elizabeth L. ?Betty,? 91, of St. Petersburg, FL died Saturday March 8, 2003 at the Masonic Home of Florida. She was a native of Key West, FL and a graduate and Valedictorian of Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami where she received her degree as a Registered Nurse. In 1937, she married Ralph Hill, a pharmacist who preceded her in death in 1964. Betty and Ralph moved to Tampa and opened ?Live and Let Live? Drug Store which they successfully owned and operated from 1945-1960. Betty was a Methodist. She was a charter member of The West Hillsborough Lioness Club, charter member of the The Wellswood Civic Club and The Allapattah O.E.S. In her retirement years, she loved to travel the U.S. coast to coast making new friends, while having a home base near here sister in Alabama. She resided at The Masonic Home in St. Petersburg since 1993. Betty is survived by her only child, Sandra Pelusio and devoted son-in-law, Frank and her granddaughter Leanne McAdoo, all of Clearwater. Her two grandsons Frank Pelusio II of Philadelphia and Michael Pelusio of Palm Harbor also survive her, as well as six great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive her. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions in her name to the Masonic Home of Florida, 3201-1st St. NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33704.
