Akers, David, ?Dave?, 24, of St. Petersburg, died Friday March 14, 2003 at Northside Hospital. He was a native of St. Petersburg and was employed at Smith and Nephew. He loved life but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He attended Pasadena Community Church. Survivors include his parents, Randy and Debbie Akers; a sister, Rebecca Akers; all of St. Petersburg; maternal grandmother, Thelma Carroll, Pensacola, FL; paternal grandparents, Richard and Liela Akers, Largo, FL; Charles and Dorothy Smith, Frankfort, IN and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Bobbitt Chapel.
