Anderson, Stephen J., 36, of St. Petersburg, died Monday March 31, 2003 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. He came here in 1989 from his native Alliance, Ohio. He was an Army Infantry Sergeant from 1985 until 1989. He worked as a Management Consultant. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and St. Raphael?s Catholic Church. He loved flying airplanes, scuba diving, and spear fishing. He was very active with the ?Bailey Family Foundation? in Tampa. Survivors include his wife, Wendy; one daughter, Kaitlin Anderson, St. Petersburg; his parents, David L. and Judith E. Anderson, Jacksonville, FL; and one brother, active Marine Staff Sgt. John D. Anderson, Tampa, FL. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in his name to the American Cancer Society, 4801-86th Avenue North, Pinellas Park,, FL 33782. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
