Allen, Margaret E. ?Peggy,? 88, of St. Petersburg, FL died Sunday April 27, 2003 at Kindred Hospital St. Petersburg. She was a native of St. Petersburg and had worked in Sales for Maas Bros. Department Store and the Allen Drug Company. Since 1964 she was a lifetime member, and the longest living member, of the City Beautiful Commission. She was a member of Beta Woman?s Club and First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg. Survivors include three daughters: Barbara Altieri and Nancy Fuller, both of Wadesboro, NC; and Judy Langel, St. Petersburg; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. If you wish, the family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the City Beautiful Commission, 1400 19th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33713.
