Szuja, Stefan, 81, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday, May 22, 2003 at Edward White Hospital. Born in Olesha, Ukraine, he moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1989 from Lorain, Ohio. He was a clothing tailor and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church. He was active in the Ukrainian community and church. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kateryna; a daughter, Olya Czerkas of St. Petersburg; a grandson, Marko Czerkas of St. Petersburg; a brother, Walter Szuja of Sevierville, Tennessee; a bother, Hilaryj and three sisters, Pawlina, Zosia and Vera all of Ukraine.
