Kenneth Lester McLeod
October 16th, 1920 - July 23rd, 2003
Kenneth Lester McLeod, Jr., 82, died July 23, 2003. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, McLeod came to St. Petersburg in 1921. He served as a Warrant Officer in the United States Air Force during World War II. One of McLeod's proudest accomplishments was to own and operate Consolidated Automotive Parts, one of the foremost providers of foreign auto parts in the state of Florida. He and his company received national recognition for entrepreneurship. Mr. McLeod wanted his leagacy to reflect the love and companionship that he felt for his beloved wife, Mary Juna. Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Mary Juna the former Mary Juna Williams; one daughter, Karlin Elaine Medwick; one step-son, James Clayton Parker, Jr.; and a sister, Donna McLeod Underhill, all of St. Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to: Helping Hands Fund, St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 4444 - 5th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33713.
