Troxel, Dorothy M., 80, of Largo, died Monday, August 18, 2003 at home. Born in Brownstown, Illinois, she came here in 1993 from Phoenix, Arizona. She worked as a secretary for Lennox Air Conditioning and Ashland Chemical Company in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to moving to Columbus, Ohio in 1954, she worked for the Riverside County Agricultural Commissioner?s office. After retiring, she continued to work as a secretary for a legal firm in Fallbrook, CA. She was an active member of the Scarlet Hustlers of Pinellas County, she was an active member of numerous bridge groups, and the ?Ohio-Michigan? Group of Largo. She was a member of St. Paul?s United Methodist Church in Largo. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Allen Troxel of Largo; one son, Scott of Largo; two daughters Marilyn Kirby of Orlando and Patti Brooks of Perrysburg, Ohio; two brothers, Denzil Morgan and Herb Morgan of IL; one sister Edna Branham, MO and three grandchildren. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 4801 86th Avenue North, Pinellas Park, FL 33782.
