Louis F. Armstrong

Armstrong, Louis F., M.D., 74, of St. Petersburg died Saturday, August 23, 2003 at Ed White Hospital. He came to our area in 1961 from his native Plant City, FL. Prior to retirement, he owned and operated a private practice in St. Petersburg for over 33 years. He was a veteran in the United States Air Force serving in the Korean War as a Staff Sergeant. He was a member of the St. Peter?s Episcopal Church in St. Petersburg. He was a Graduate of Florida Southern and the University of Miami Medical School. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. Survivors include three sons: Louis ?Skip? Jr. and G. Robert, both of St. Petersburg; James Armstrong, of Orange, TX; and six Grandchildren.
