March 8th, 1919 - October 25th, 2003
Olsen, Beth, of Treasure Island, died Saturday October 25, 2003 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. She was born in Stanton, MN, and married Edward S. Olsen in 1939. They made their home in Frederic, WI, where Beth was a homemaker and Edward was a successful pharmacist and businessman. In the 1960?s they began making regular visits to St. Petersburg, and when they retired in 1975 they moved to Treasure Island and became Florida residents. Beth was an accomplished gardener and hostess. She was also a dedicated member and frequent volunteer at St. Luke?s Methodist Church in Frederic, and a member of Pasadena Community Church in St. Petersburg. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Edward, daughter Elizabeth Coen of Luck, WI, and son E. John Olsen of St. Petersburg. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Ohlrogge, Minneapolis, MN; and grandchildren, Emily Balogh, Julia Ohlrogge, Benjamin Olsen and Robert Coen, and sister-in-law, Imogene McCorkle, all of whom will miss her greatly.
