It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of James "Chicken" W. Little, Jr., who departed from this world on May 18, 2025, at the age of 85, in Warner Robins, Georgia. Born on October 9, 1939, in Pelham, Georgia, James led a life characterized by kindness, loyalty, and a sense of humor that could light up any room. A visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 PM at Pelham City Cemetery, located at 484 Cemetery Road NW, Pelham, Georgia, 31779. All are invited to come together to celebrate the life of a man who touched many lives and whose legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.

James, affectionately known as "Chicken," was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, James served his country with honor before embarking on a fulfilling career as a flight line mechanic at Robins Air Force Base, where he retired as a dedicated civil servant. His work ethic and commitment to service were evident in all aspects of his life. James was a man of many talents, known for his joyful spirit and his ability to make others laugh. He had an innate ability to connect with people, whether through his heartfelt jokes or his caring nature. Friends and family will remember him as a beacon of light who always put others first.

James devoted 64 beautiful years to his cherished wife, Margaret Beers Little. Together, they created a loving family, which includes their three beloved children: Kristy (Wilbur) Cameron, Barbara (Kelly) Buller, and Nadine (David) Moore. He was a proud and adoring grandfather to Savana (Winston) Westerman, Olivia Cameron, Alisha (Kasey) Potts, Shawn (Haley) Buller, Shannon (Matt) Ballard, Shaina (Bradley) Buller Morton, and Cole Moore, Bailey Moore, and a doting great-grandfather to 14 great grandchildren, all of whom will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. He is also survived by his loving siblings: Larry (Alice) Little, Susan (Ed) Keller, and David (Melody) Little, who join the entire family in mourning the loss of a remarkable man.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James W. Little, Sr. and Irene Lawrence Little, and his beloved daughter, Teresa Irene Little.

In this time of grief, may we find comfort in the cherished memories of James "Chicken" W. Little, Jr., a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His spirit lives on in the hearts of all he has touched throughout his remarkable journey.
