Duff, William Michael ?Bill?, 85, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday December 28, 2003 at home. Born in North Hempstead, New York, he moved here in 1977 from Elmira, New York. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII, having received the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal. He was a retired railroad engineer for the Penn Central/Conrail Railroad in Elmira, New York. He enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing, played for the Kids ?n Kubs semi-professional softball team, and was an avid musician. Survivors include 2 daughters, Patricia Ward of Wellsboro, New York and Marlene Gush of Elmira Heights, New York; 2 sons, Michael Duff of Pinellas Park and Stephen Duff of St. Petersburg; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
