November 3rd, 1922 - January 12th, 2004
Hagan, Margaret J. ?Peggy,? 81, of Largo and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Monday January 12, 2004 at home under the care of the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. Born in Danville, IL she moved to Florida in 1961 from Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and did post graduate work at Duquesne University. She lived in St. Pete Beach where she was a teacher with the Pinellas County School System at Gulf Beaches Elementary. She became an active member of Friends of Strays where her volunteer work included working in the Thrift Shop, serving on the Board of Directors, and editing the quarterly newsletter. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Hagan Knowlton and granddaughter, Elizabeth Evans Knowlton, both of St. Petersburg. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
