Umaro "Hitto" Sarju Hitto was born August 3rd 1931 to Sarju and Brigrajie in Canegrove, Guyana. He passed away WednesdaY, January 21, 2004 at his daughter Monica?s home. He moved to St. Petersburg in 2000 from Queens, New York where he retired from ABC Studios in Manhatten, NY. He was the husband of the late Baby Sarju. He is survived by six wonderful children, Pearly Singh, Pam Ram, Pradeep Sarju, Kamla Belpat, Monica Ramdhani & Parmanad Sarju; and was a brother to Prahalad Sarju, Harry Sarju, & Baboo Sarju and Kaitee Ramhit. He was a father-in-law to Ramchand Singh, Golab Ram, Nadira Sarju, Pandit Atmanand Belpat, Kishore "Bobby" Ramdhani, & Shalini Sarju. He was a loving Grandfather to Anita, Danny, Rosie, Rosalyn, Rokesh, Molly, Ajay, Amrita, Geeta, Sonia, Debbie and Donald.
