DeLage, Lawrence, 84, of Holiday, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Saturday March 13, 2004 at home. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he came here in 2003 from St. Petersburg, Florida, where he had lived since 1958. He retired as a Master Sgt. from the U.S. Air Force after twenty two years, having served during World War II, the Korean War, and participated in the Berlin Airlift. He taught shop class at both Disston Middle School and Tyrone Middle School where he retired after fourteen years. He was a member of the Air Force Sergeant?s Association and the Eighth Air Force Historical Society. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy E.; two sons, Lawrence T. of Holiday and Frank B. of St. Petersburg, Florida; a daughter, Laurie Jo DeLage of Ft. Myers, Florida; a sister, Lillian Webb of St. Petersburg, Florida; a brother, Aaron DeLage of Chicago, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
