Peggy Jo Kimmel Scully
October 3rd, 1949 - April 7th, 2004
Scully, Peggie Jo Kimmel, 54, of St. Petersburg, died April 7, 2004 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. She was a native of St. Petersburg and a Graduate of Northeast High School. She was dedicated to encouraging many through the establishment of her Christian website, Haven of Friends. Her love of writing won her an award and inspired her to begin writing her first book. She was an avid Tennis player, winning several tournaments and enjoyed playing golf with her beloved husband. She was a former member of the St. Petersburg Junior League, the Racquet Club of St. Petersburg and currently was a member of Suncoast Cathedral Assembly of God, Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club, and the Vinoy Tennis Club. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Peggie G. Wright Rodriguez. Survivors include her beloved husband, Charles R.; two loving daughters: Rebecca and Andrea Kimmel, both of St. Petersburg; two brothers: William Rodriguez, Hudson, FL.; and Skip Guy, Newnan, GA.; and four grandchildren. Friends may call Monday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel, 2201-9th St. N., where a Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made in her name for Christian Counseling in care of Rev. Dr. R.
