Mitchell John Kulesza
May 31st, 1928 - April 9th, 2004
Kulesza, Mitchell John ?Mitch?, 75, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday April 8, 2004 at home under Hospice care. Born in Hartford, CT he moved here in 1979 from Rockville, MD. In his early youth he lived in Poland. He graduated from Ohio State University in 1959. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War as an observer for 26 missions and remained in the Reserves until retirement with the rank of Major and received the Air Medal for Combat. Subsequently he served in U.S. Government service during his non-military career in engineering related positions with Bonneville Power Administration, the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, retiring from the Dept. of Energy. He was of the catholic faith. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Faye; a son, George John Kulesza of Cincinnati, OH; two daughters, Michelle Gavelek of Madison, IN and Maria Bartkovsky of St. Petersburg and five grandchildren.
