McLeod, William J., Jr. ?Bill,? 57, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday June 10, 2004 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. He came here in 1947 from his native Gainesville, FL. He was currently a practicing Attorney in St. Petersburg with his own firm. He was previously employed as an Assistant State Attorney with the Pinellas/Pasco State Attorney?s office, and former Attorney with the Baynard, McLeod, and Lang Law firm. He was former co-owner of Save-On Seafood. He was a member of The Florida Bar Association, St. Petersburg Bar Association, Dragon Club, and Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club. He loved sports scuba diving, flying planes, sail boarding, fly fishing and was an avid golfer. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Susan; one sister, Kathy McLeod Port, Lilburn, GA; one brother, Philip A. McLeod, St. Petersburg; and 8 nieces and 6 nephews. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
