Brandt, Walter, 92, of St. Petersburg, FL died June 9, 2004 at Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg. Born in New Minden, IL, he moved to St. Petersburg in 1976 from St. Louis, MO. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a Mail Clerk for Concordia Publishing House. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Survivors include one daughter, Ruth Mann, Toronto, Canada; two sons: Charles Brandt, Phoenix, AZ; and David Brandt, Portland, ME; two sisters: Esther Restow, Albuquerque, NM; and Sylvia Taylor, Alton, IL; and four grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
