Doane, Wayne Allen "Jim," 66, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday June 24, 2004 at St. Anthony?s Hospital of a heart attack. Born in Lebanon, Ohio, he came here in 1990 from Pasadena, MD. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a Senior Executive with the Department of Defense. He was a member of the Power Squadron of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. He loved woodworking, biking and sailing. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Judy; one daughter, Debbie Zillig, St. Petersburg; two sons: Darrell, Memphis, TN; and Dennis, Sarasota, FL; and eight grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
