Douglas G. Howe
September 23rd, 1949 - April 2nd, 2015
Douglas G. Howe, 65, died April 2nd, 2015. He was born to the late Dalton and Margaret Howe on September 23, 1949, in Detroit, MI. He was an avid musician with a passion for the guitar and songwriting. He was extremely talented with his hands from the music he played to the homes he helped build, there was beauty found in all of it. Doug was an advocate for the underdog and always saw the best in strangers. He would go out of his way to help them when they were down and out. Whether it was by giving them a place to stay, helping then find work, or just offering an ear. Doug is survived by his daughter, Gina Miller-Lane of St. Petersburg, FL and his son, Matthew Howe of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by his three grandchildren Jasmine, Jasper, and Arabella and his two sisters Beverly and Margaret. He left behind his beloved friend and pet, Sky. You will always be a song playing in our hearts.
