Gilbert, Robert O. ?Bob,? 71, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday August 8, 2004 at home. Born in Danvers, Mass., he came here in 1969 from Swampscott, Mass. He was a retired U.S. Air Force Major and served during the Korean War. He later became owner/operator of Diversified Accounting Systems, Inc. in St. Petersburg and retired after 25 years of service. He was a member of St. Bede?s Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Geraldine M. ?Jeri?; a son, Robert O., Jr., Zephyrhills, FL; two brothers: Joseph A., Danvers, Mass.; and Richard, Rapid City, South Dakota; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Lambert, St. Petersburg. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
