Barrie, Arthur A. ?Art,? 75, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday August 17, 2004 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in Yonkers, NY, he came here in 1991 from Kettering, OH. He served in the U. S. Army Audit Agency during the Korean War. He retired as a manager with NCR computer centers in Dayton, OH. He taught at Dixie Hollins High School in the Adult Education Program from 1992 until 2002. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the University of Dayton Alumni, Tampa Bay Chapter, and the British Commonwealth Society, Tampa Bay. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Joan; a son, Doug Barrie, Vista, CA; three daughters: Diane Mercado, Van Nuys, CA; Robyn Reasor, Raleigh, NC; and Linda Barrie, Sherman Oaks, CA; a brother, Douglas Barrie, Chicago, IL; one granddaughter; and three step-grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
