Leger, Mathilda T. ?Tillie?, 87, of St. Petersburg, FL died Monday, September 6th, 2004 at home with her family present. She was born in Rogers, MN and moved to St. Petersburg upon retirement in 1975 from Austin, MN. She was in businesses with her husband in Elk River, Windom, and Austin, MN. She expressed a deep devotion to Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Petersburg through many hours of volunteer work. She was also an active member of her retirement community and served on the Corporate Board. She is survived by 3 daughters, Rita Barbeln, Marni Leger, and Leone Turtness; 5 sons, Arthur III, Robert, John, Ron, and Kurt; 1 brother, Wallace Hagel; 27 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Friday at Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Petersburg with Reverend Father Tom Anastasia Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 7851 54th Ave. No., St. Petersburg, FL 33709 or a charity of your choice.
