Rhodes, Jesse, 31, of Canton, MI, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Thursday October 14, 2004 in Jefferson City, Missouri in an airplane crash. He moved to Palm Harbor, Florida in 1983 from his native Summertown, TN and moved to Canton in 2004. He was an airline pilot with Pinnacle Airlines, Northwest Airlink in Detroit, Michigan. He had logged 6, 700 flight hours. He was a member of Airline Pilot?s Association and the Alumni of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is survived by his wife Alison; two daughters, Cassidy M. Cook and Emma V. Rhodes both of Canton, MI; his parents, Joseph and Laurene Rhodes of Palm Harbor, FL; a sister, Davina Rhodes of Chicago, IL; a brother, Jason Rhodes of Spring Hill, FL; maternal grandparents, Joe and Sylvia Nydick of Sarasota, FL and paternal grandparents, Bill and Estelle Rhodes of The Villages, FL. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Campus Chapel, 600 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32114. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ?Jesse Rhodes Memorial Fund? and forwarded to Pinnacle Airlines, Attn: Kristen Loughnan, 1689 Noncannah Blvd. Suite 111, Memphis, TN 38132.
