Haines, Thomas E. ?Tom,? 70, of Morristown, NY and winter resident of Dunedin, FL died Monday December 6, 2004 at home in Dunedin. Born in Syracuse, NY, he became a winter resident of Dunedin in 2001 from Ogdensburg, NY. He was a First Class Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and Erie County Technical College in Hotel Restaurant Management. In Ogdensburg, he was the Food Service Director at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital and Chef/Owner of Abbe on the Mall Restaurant. He was predeceased by his brother, Fred. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Caroline J.; four sons: Timothy B., of Spokane, WA; William R., of Conway, MA; Thomas E., of Clermont, FL; and Daniel P., of Plant City, FL; a sister, Joan L. Reid of Healdsburg, CA; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, December 27th at Grand Bay Mobile Home Estates in Dunedin. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-Largo/Clearwater Chapel.
