Zimmerman, William "Bill" 81, of St. Petersburg, FL, August 5, 2011, at St. Petersburg General Hospital. Born in Buffalo, NY, he came here in 1985. He was a United States Army veteran. He attended St. Jude Catholic Church in St. Petersburg. He enjoyed wood carving, remodeling, bricklaying, sports, walks on the beach, hunting and fishing. He was a Past Master of Nitram Masonic Lodge 188, Past Commander of VFW Post 6827 and a member of the American Legion Post 400. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Zimmerman; father William Zimmerman; first wife Doris Mae Beimler; son Thomas Zimmerman; second wife Angeline DiFiore and brother Clayton Zimmerman. He is survived by daughter Nancy Castor (Henry) of St. Petersburg; son William Zimmerman (Renee') of Clearwater, FL, son Gary Zimmerman (Sharon) of Clearwater; loving companion Cissie Weihman and her children Harry and Patricia of St. Petersburg; brother Kenneth Zimmerman (Barbara) of Tacoma, WA; sister Laura Schmidt (late Edwin) of Kenmore, NY; sister Ruth Overturf (late James) of Kenmore; daughter in-law Gena (late Thomas) Zimmerman; brother-in-law George Beimler (Judy); stepchildren Gloria Ladner (Larry), Joseph DiFiore (Janice) and Kathy DiFiore; and nine grandchildren; also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. There will be a visitation August 17 from 4:30-8:30 PM at the Funeral Home, with a Memorial Service at the Nitram Masonic Lodge 188, 4275 78th St. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709 August 18 at 11 AM.
