Corbett, Frank Junius, 86, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday February 5, 2005 under Hospice care at Westminster Suncoast Nursing Home. He was born in Rocky Mount, NC and moved here in 1997 from Buffalo, NY. He was a Professor of Urban Affairs at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He was a Captain in the Army during WWII. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, FLiCRA FL Life Care Residents Assoc., NAACP, National Urban League, Johnson C. Smith University Alumni Assoc., and University of Chicago Alumni Assoc. He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Corbett of St. Petersburg; a daughter: Mary Elizabeth Corbett of St. Petersburg; 2 brothers: Robert Kelly Corbett of Rocky Mount, NC and Alfred Benjamin Corbett of Chandler, AZ; and a sister: Mary L. Bryant of Rocky Mount, NC.
