Lt. Colonel Paul David Harris was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts Jan. 24, 1941, passed away at home on May 2, 2015, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelors of Science and earned a Master's degree in Logistics Management. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Maria S. Harris, their 22 year old daughter Nicole Harris, brother Phillip Harris, sister in law Carol Harris, nephews Greg and Nathan Harris, son Dan Woske, daughter Tracy Corbett, and grandchildren Hunter and Joe Corbett. A lover of all things outdoors: sailing, boating, fishing, golfing, and an avid grower of Thai Orchids. He was a loyal and trusting friend to Mark Blair and Jerry Peppenger both during their time in the Air Force together and after retiring. Paul D. Harris will be remembered for his loving demeanor, positive spirit, and unselfish desire to help others. There will be a Visitation on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 10-12 pm and 1-3 pm at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Street North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33704. There will be a Graveside Service at Bay Pines National Cemetery on Monday, May 11th, at 12:45 PM.
