Bessette, Alphonse, 88, of St. Petersburg, died Monday March 28, 2005 at Bayside Rehab. & Health Care Center. A native of Adamsville, New Brunswick, Canada, he was a winter resident here since 1975. He was a roadmaster for the Canadian Pacific Railroad. He was Catholic. Survivors include a niece, Pauline Dagesse of Newport, Vermont and 3 nephews, Gerard Alix of Newport Center, Vermont; Laurier Alix of The Villages, Florida; and Ferdinand Alix of Littleton, New Hampshire.
