January 28th, 1932 - April 15th, 2005
Poucher, Randy, 73, of Seminole, died Friday April 15, 2005 at St. Anthony?s Hospital after a long illness. He was born in St. Petersburg and was a 1949 graduate of St. Pete High School, a graduate of I.B.E.W. Apprentice School in 1951, and a graduate of St. Petersburg Junior College. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Shenandoah. He worked for the Atomic Energy Commission, the Savannah River Plant with ?Q? Clearance Status and E.I. Dupont and Miller-Dunn Electric. He was owner and operator of A. Randy?s Electric, Inc. since its founding in 1975. He was a former Director and Stockholder and member of various committees of Marine Bank in St. Petersburg since its founding in 1986 until the bank was sold to Southtrust Bank in 1999. He was present Director and Stockholder and member of various committees of First Community Bank of America. He was a present member of the First Community Bank of America Holding Company and Executive Committee member. He was an eighteen year member of the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board and the Electrical Advisory Committee. He was a lifetime member of the Sertoma International Club; a member of the National Electrical Insepctor?s Assoc.; the Independent Electrical Contractors Assoc.; the Electrical Council of Florida; the International Assoc. of Electrical Inspectors; the Tampa Bay Builders Assoc.; St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce; and the Contractors Builders Association. He was a founder and Vice President of Sunshine State Carnival Glass Association. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Jackie; four sons: Dwayne Poucher, of Largo; Billy Racky, St. Louis, MO; James Racky, Parrish, FL; and Edward Racky, Minneapolis, MN; a daughter, MaryLou Cunningham, Brooklyn Park, MN; a sister, Donna Marie Daye, Knoxville, TN; eleven grandchildren.
