Carroll Grace Ross

Ross, Carroll Grace, 94, of St. Petersburg, FL died Monday May 9, 2005 at Hospice House Woodside. She was born in Thealka, KY and moved to St. Petersburg in 1963 from Huntington, WV. She was the widow of Herbert Shearer of McVeigh, KY and Samuel L. Ross of Wayne, WV. She worked at Powers Dry Cleaning in Huntington for 17 years and later managed Carter Cleaners in St. Petersburg. She was of the Episcopalian faith and was a past member of St. Peters Cathedral. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sharon K. Allen of St. Petersburg. She is survived by her 5 daughters: Beaulia Ferguson of Huntington, WV; Dreamah Dawson, of Winston-Salem, NC; and Carroll J. Toney, Sonuia Mays and Patricia Jozwiakowski, all of St. Petersburg; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
