Zella, Mary Gladys, 81, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in Colebrook, Ohio, she came here in 1981 from Cleveland, Ohio. She was a homemaker, a Presbyterian and was a member of Isla Del Sol Country Club. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Alfred J. ?Fred? Zella of St. Petersburg; 3 daughters, Mary L. Zella Cari of Chesterland, Ohio, Laura B. Thompson of Highland Heights, Ohio and Susan L. Harek of Munroe, Georgia; 2 sons, Robert M. Zella of Munson, Ohio and James F. Zella of Hiram, Ohio; 2 sisters, Wanda Mates of New York, New York, Jeane Giordano of Southern Pines, North Carolina; a brother, Clarance Salamon of Munson, Ohio; and 10 grandchildren.
