Gutekunst, Kenneth F., 68, of St. Petersburg died Friday July 29, 2005 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. Born in Queens, NY, he moved to St. Petersburg in 1973 from Long Island, NY. He was a retired machinist in the aerospace industry. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a softball player and coach for 47 years. He was a Sunday School teacher for 50 years and was a very active volunteer at church and St. Vincent?s DePaul Society. Survivors include his wife of 46 years: Dolores; three 3 daughters: Doreen Tomlin ? Seminole, FL, Dawn Hartsfield ? St. Petersburg and Dyana Broussard ? Cayce, SC; a son: Kenneth D. Gutekunst ? St. Petersburg; two 2 brothers: Frederick Gutekunst ? Silver Creek, NY and Richard Gutekunst ? Covington, LA; two 2 sisters: Susan Kostynick ? Detroit Lakes, MN and Nancy McClure ? Spring Hill, FL: six 6 grandchildren: Megan Brown ? Lehigh Acres, FL, Meredith Cataldo ? Largo, FL, Evan Tomlin ? Seminole, FL, Mellissa Hartsfield ? St. Petersburg, Geoffrey Hartsfield ? St. Petersburg, and Liberty Broussard ? Cayce, SC; and two 2 great grandchildren: Shane Cataldo ? Largo and Sydney Brown ? Lehigh Acres, FL. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers ? N.E.
