Stietzle, Edward L., 85, of Pinellas Park, died Sunday, July 31st, 2005 at Hospice Woodside in Pinellas Park. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and came here in 1981 from Huntington Station, NY. He worked as an aviation technician for Grumman Aviation in Beth Page, NY and retired after 25 years of service. He was a WW II Army veteran. Locally, he was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinellas Park, and a life member of VFW Post #6827 and DAV Sunshine City Post #9 in St. Petersburg. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in St. Petersburg, Elks Lodge #2159 in Largo, the Pearl Harbor Survivors? Club and a life member of the Merrills Marauders Club. He was an excellent craftsman, an avid reader and he loved to travel. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nicoletta N.; 1 daughter, Maureen S. Daniels of Palm Harbor; 1 son, Edward L., Jr. and 1 brother, Harold both of Long Island, NY; and 3 granddaughters, Christine Marques, and Elizabeth and Sarah Stietzle.
