Howlett, Malvin E., Sr. ?Sonny,? 74, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday August 23, 2005. Born in Hopewell, VA, he came here in 1972 from Norfolk, VA. He was owner/operator of Howlett Suncoast Report/Statewide, an Insurance Inspecting company, for 42 years throughout Florida. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two daughters; Susan Gomez, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Elizabeth Kirkwood, St. Petersburg; five sons; Malvin E. Howlett, Jr., Arlington, VA; Christopher Howlett, Durham, NC; Michael Dean Howlett and Mark Andrew Howlett, both of St. Petersburg; and William Patrick Howlett, Largo, FL; two step-sons: Jerry David Yeomans, St. Petersburg; and Michael Douglas Yeomans, Stockbridge, GA; three sisters: Evelyn Wray, Audrey Bodner, and Janet Howlett, all of Norfolk, VA; three brothers: Floyd A. and Phillip Howlett, both of Norfolk, VA; and Frank Howlett, Chesapeake, VA; and twelve grandchildren.
