Fendley, David E. ?Dave?, 57, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday September 3, 2005 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. He was born in Crawfordsville, IN and moved here in 1997 from Arizona. He worked for Guaranteed Carburetors in Largo for 7 years as a rebuilder. He retired after 23 years of service to the Air Force as a Master Sergeant and after having served the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 26 years: Debra S. of St. Petersburg; three daughters: Paula I. Fendley of St. Petersburg, Colleen L. Douty of Chicago, IL., and Emily L. Gieser of Dallas, TX; one son: David E. Layfield of Houston, TX; his parents: Donald E. and Phyllis ?Phyl? Fendley of St. Petersburg and 9 grandchildren.
