Meehan, Sr., Neil C., 67, of Riverview, FL, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Sunday, September 25, 2005 at home from cancer. Born in Island Pond, Vermont, he moved to St. Petersburg in 1989 from Plattsburgh, NY before moving to Riverview in 2003. He was a retired manager/general agent with the Knights of Columbus in Northern New York and Southern Florida and Puerto Rico areas from 1974 until 2000. He was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, St. Petersburg and St. Stephen?s Catholic Church in Valrico, the Knights of Columbus since 1966, Elks Club, American Legion, V.F.W., FICF and LUTC insurance organizations and an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rose M., two sons, Neil ?Anthony? Meehan, Jr., St. Petersburg and Craig Davis Meehan, Brandon, FL, five daughters, Teresa Ann Wiggins, Riverview, Cynthia Ann Olejnik, Valrico, Elizabeth Rose Haney, Littleton, NH, Carynjoy and Buffy Michelle Meehan, both of St. Petersburg, two sisters, Elsie Keltz, Littleton, NH and Marjorie Breault, Newport, VT, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
