Garbay, Elizabeth C., 98, of Palm Harbor, died Friday, September 23, 2005 at Manor Care of Palm Harbor. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she came here in 1980 from Ivyland, Penn. She was a retired high school English teacher. She graduated in 1928 from the University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor?s degree in Education, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She was a lifetime Presbyterian and an accomplished pianist, frequently entertaining her fellow residents at Balmoral Assisted Living in Palm Harbor. She is survived by a daughter, Trudy Oesterling, Richboro, PA, a son Roland Greenwood, Granby, CT, five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
