Kraus, Frederick Oscar, M.D. Ret. 86, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Friday, September 30, 2005 at home under Hospice care. He was born in Glendale, New York and practiced internal medicine from 1945 to 1960. He then moved to Fort Myers, Florida where he practiced internal medicine and psychiatry from 1960 until retirement in 1990 when he moved to St. Petersburg. He was a WWII Army 1st Lt. veteran and a Roman Catholic. He was survived by two daughters, Anita Vogel, Bradenton, FL and Caryl Knox, Douglasville, GA; son, Frederick Kraus Jr., St. Petersburg, FL; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
