Wood, Norman Gene, 69, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday October 8, 2005 at Long Term Care of St. Petersburg. Born in Samson, AL, he came here in 1952 from De Funiak Springs, FL. He served in the U. S. Air Force. He retired from the City of Clearwater as a groundskeeper. Survivors include two sons: Gene and Ronald Wood; a daughter, Julie; two brothers: Isaac Wood, Ocala, FL; and Larry Wood, Munford, AL; and a sister, Barbara Manning, Grand Island, FL. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-NE St. Petersburg.
