Meyer, Verlea, 92, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday December 8, 2005 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. She was born in Havelock, Nebraska and moved here in the early 1950?s from Pennsylvania. She worked for the Veteran?s Administration as a purchasing agent. She was a member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club for over 50 years and a volunteer at All Children?s Hospital. She is survived by her step-daughter: Sally Meyer Campbell of Lakeland, FL ; her sister: Sadie Tree Mass of Malvern, Iowa; her niece: Melanie Dickie Fisher of Harbor Springs, MI and her nephew: Otha Mass, Jr.
