Bruorton, Charles Roy, 93 of Flint, TX and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Thursday December 8, 2005 in Frankston, TX. He was born in Reading, MA and moved to St. Petersburg in 1951 from Cuba. He worked as an electrician for Seaboard Coastline from 1951 to 1977. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and Local #1970. He was a Navy veteran and served with Merchant Marines during WWII. He was of the Protestant faith. He is survived by his daughter Ruby Louise Crabtree of Flint, TX; his brother William E. Bruorton of Bakersfield, CA; his two sisters: Anne Bradley of Swanton, VT and Ruth Manning of Sharon, VT.
