Lake, Margaret N., 92, of Seminole, died Thursday January 12, 2006 at Freedom Square Nursing Center, Seminole. Born in Tampa, FL she came here in 1948 from Tallahassee, FL. She was an interviewer with the State of Florida for 34 years. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and President of the Crusaders Class at the Church. She volunteered as a tutor for the school board through the Church and was Volunteer of the Year in 1995 at the Masonic Home of Florida. She along with her husband set up a charitable remainder trust with the Florida United Methodist Conference for educating Methodist Ministers in the future. Survivors include a son, Dr. Benjamin H. Lake, Jr., retired Florida Pastor with the United Methodist Church, Blue Ridge, GA; and three grandchildren: Dr. Larry B. Lake, Director of St. John?s County Welfare Federation, St. Augustine, FL; Mrs. Allen Margaret ?Peggy? Honey, teacher at St. Petersburg Christian School, St. Petersburg; and The Rev. James E. Lake, Pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, Marco Island, FL; and seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-NE St. Petersburg
