Higgins, Irene Davies, 93, passed away in Jacksonville, FL on December 5, 2005. Born in Webster, FL, February 25, 1912, she moved to St. Petersburg in 1922 where she was a resident for 79 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert C. Higgins in 2003, she is survived by her son, Robert A. Higgins wife, Patty of Jacksonville, FL; daughter Patricia A. Higgins, of PARC Center apartments, St. Petersburg, FL; sister, Malissa Baum, Palm Harbor, FL; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Royal Palm Cemetery, 101 55th Street S., St. Petersburg. In lieu of flowers the family requests that friends donate to the Pinellas Association for Retarded Children PARC, 3190 Tyrone Blvd. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33710.
