August 8th, 1925 - January 15th, 2006
Ovatt, Carl Edward, 80, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Wallsend, Kentucky he came here for 35 years ago from New Albany, Indiana. He was a retired 1st Sergeant in the 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army serving for 22 years. He also worked for the Klock Company, West Palm Beach. He was a life member of the VFW Post #6827 and a member of the D.A.V., Bay Pines Holiday Isle #13. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Vivian; a daughter, Linda G. Reynolds, St. Petersburg, five sisters, three brothers, two grandsons, and one great granddaughter.
